Why use cards if people are just going to throw them away? I’ve always been a fan of paper; I love walking into a papyrus store and admiring the creative and beautiful ways that paper is crafted. 

I also understand what it feels like to receive a gift so wonderful that you want to express your gratitude in a meaningful way—something that says, “Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I love this!!!” High-end cards can accomplish that; they stand alone and convey appreciation without the need to find an additional gift.
