about me

My Lovely Assistant

Did you know that my man has been helping me on photoshoots since we were in college?  Not every single one, but many!

He has a calm and kind disposition, which helps tremendously!

He makes babies laugh, and dad's feel more comfortable.  And my favorite part is that he helps me!  He blocks light from hitting my lens.  Adds light using the reflector.  He also blocks strange looking shadows that can fall on one person after I have set up a whole group!  What a lifesaver!

We make a good team, mostly because he doesn't mind me telling him what to do during a session.

So, what does he get out of this?  A happy wife. Tacos.  Sometimes we'll combine a shoot with a date and go out after.  Profiteroles.  Food, it's mostly food!  Food is a love language we share.

One Birth, One Life, Countless Joys

My motto is “One  Birth, One Life, Countless Joys.” Each tiny person that comes into this world  is all their own. And you have the privilege of watching your little  person grow. Within that one life are innumerable joys.  I am here to  capture a variety of expressions because one smile isn’t enough!  I am  detailed by nature and love to make all the important things come together. I am dedicated to creating portraits of your loved ones that will bring you joy  now and for years to come.

Children are Precious

I want to share a bit about my personal life that has influenced my work. When my husband and I decided to start a family, our babies did not come right away. We felt the heartache of infertility and were only able to become pregnant with the help of doctors. We had a little girl, and a few years later we had twin boys!

Because of this life challenge, I greatly appreciate how precious babies are. Our children are gifts from God. I will take great care in photographing your children for you to have artistic remembrances of your little ones. Photography can help you celebrate their arrival, birthdays, religious milestones, or coming of age events. I would love to be your photographer.

Disciples came unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

And Jesus called a little child unto  him, and set him in the midst of them,

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

 Matthew 18: 1-5
