Family Photographs, Pine trees by the lake

These images haven’t been fully retouched, so don’t be put off by lint that has not been retouched!  I just had to post to share all of these sweet moments with this beautiful family.  It was not supposed to be as cold as it was, but a cold front came through.  Mama was so prepared and had an extra shirt in the car for the little guy to wear under his long-sleeved shirt.  He also wore a little jacket and we took turns taking it off for a few pictures and then putting it back on again when it wasn’t his turn.  We also did a lot of cuddly poses to help keep him warm.

Do you have a favorite outdoor place your family visits often?  I would love to tag along and photograph you and your loves in that space that has meaning to you all!

High School Senior Photography

I strive to capture a variety of angles and poses so that your Graduate can have many beautiful portraits to commemorate this milestone.   I am loving all the details that came together, the lighting, clothing and posing.  For Senior sessions we do at least two outfits, a casual and a dressy one.  I love it when Senior’s bring props like hats because we can easily add more poses and it helps them get comfortable in their space.  I show images on the back of the camera to let my Graduate see how great they are turning out.  It’s so encouraging when they get excited!  Or I say, “Let’s do that again, but let’s make your hands softer.”  I pay attention to details!  They matter.  I am happy to create heirloom quality photography that you and yours will appreciate now and for years to come!
