Can you believe this beautiful young woman is usually shy?

Part of my job as your photographer is to guide you on how to pose and what to do throughout the session. It’s fun for me, and easy for you! I look at backgrounds, find the light, place you in it, then we try a few poses before moving onto the next spot!

I would love to be your Senior photographer and celebrate your 2025 Graduation!  Click on the CONTACT button above to send me an email!  I look forward to planning with you!

Puppy Cavapoo Photography | Phoenix, AZ

My first photography session in my new home studio was a puppy photoshoot for Catella Cavaliers & Cavapoos! Sarah is raising Cavapoo puppies, with a white Poodle mom and a blenheim Cavalier dad, resulting in light russet pups. These puppies will grow to about 40 pounds due to their poodle mom.

We set up a session to photograph all 11 six-week-old puppies. All but one had future homes, going to happy families nationwide. They were incredibly sweet and a joy to photograph. Our small team included three puppy handlers, Sarah, and myself.

Sarah set up a pen for them to be in during the photo session. Seeing them all together was delightful! All those tiny tails made me laugh! When Sarah took the first few puppies out, the remaining ones whined in unison, creating a heartfelt moment we all paused to admire.

During the session, the puppies moved frequently, which highlighted the importance of having handlers present. The plan was to arrange a few puppies at a time and photograph them in smaller groups. Photographs were taken quickly, and then they were set up again. Toward the end, as the puppies became sleepy, it was easier to capture their individual portraits.

I would be thrilled to photograph your pet, especially if it is a new addition to your family. What a beautiful way to bond with your new companion!

Time for a new Headshot? | Phoenix, Arizona

I have streamlined the process to make it quick and easy for you! Here are a few of my strategies:

1. Comfort is Key

I want you to feel comfortable so that your portrait truly reflects who you are!

My Strategy: I use a lens that allows me to stand a few feet away from you. This way, I’m not in your personal space, helping you feel more at ease. I will show you both the full shot and a cropped version.

 2. Multiple Options

I take many photos and curate the best ones for you to choose from. You will have about twenty images to sort through and select a couple of your favorites.

My Strategy: I capture a variety of poses because even slight changes in angle can make a significant difference.

 3. Effortless Experience

The process should be straightforward and simple. I understand that, as busy individuals, most adults don’t love getting their portraits taken!

My Strategy: The session usually lasts about 20 minutes, takes place in one location, and involves one outfit. I will guide you on where and how to pose, making it quick and easy!

Branding Session: If you’re looking for more than just a quick headshot, I would love to do a branding session with you! This process involves more planning, but it’s definitely worth it. We will discuss the look you want to achieve and plan all the details to support that vision. This includes everything from location and clothing to hair and make-up, if desired. The final result will be a variety of images that you can use throughout the year on your social media pages.
