This is my sweet little nephew who came to visit. I think this light mocha knit is perfect for his skin tone. He is a mover, so my strategies that worked best were peek-a-boo and playing with blocks! It was so much fun to have a baby in the house again!

I created this portrait of Jesus years ago. It is still one of my favorite art pieces that I have made. I especially share it again with my children as part of teaching them the Easter story. We go through the last days of Jesus’ life starting with palm Sunday, and ending with a celebration of his resurrection the following Sunday. This image of Christ nobly depicts his submission to his Father’s will to take upon himself the sins of the world. When I show this to my children I remind them, that Jesus prayed for them individually there in the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus knows each one of us. I am grateful for the beliefs that I hold dear and that my Savior has truly been a friend to me while on my journey on earth. I hope you have a wonderful Easter with your loved ones and remember how much Jesus loves you.

Loving all the little Baby details. the dimples on the fingers, the chubby legs and tiny, little feet! What a doll she was! Mom and grandad came to watch and make her smile. She definitely liked the blocks the best, they fit perfectly in her hands.
