Mom put together great outfits and Dad made everybody laugh, the perfect combination!

Textures make for more interesting photographs.  Dad and son both had on sweaters.  And Mom’s dress had lace sleeves which I think adds a beautiful element to the family portraits as a whole.

There were so many great portraits of this High School Senior. His family spends a lot of time at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, so it was the perfect place for his Senior Photoshoot. It was so fun to see a great background and then be creative with how to pose him within the space. He had some great ideas too! The “Clark Kent” look with holding the edge of his glasses was one of my favorites! Enjoy your last year of high school and check Senior photos off your list!  

Mama had mentioned that she normally takes photos herself, setting up the tripod and using a timer. She said how happy she was to get to come and enjoy the process and not have to be in charge! She helped to straighten sweaters and make her people smile. The mother really is the heart of the home, and I am so happy that she could just be.
